"We live abroad but own a property in the UK that we wished to rent out. Hence we needed a company that would find good tenants and look after the property in our absence from the UK. We also wanted good value for money. It is now 15 years plus since we signed a contract with Terracotta to manage the property and we have achieved both objectives. Their rental charges are below those of others in the area, and their principal office is a reasonable distance from the property but through their regular visits to monitor its state and to assess how well it is being managed by the tenants it has been kept in very good condition. Their surveys have been carried out efficiently and with good detail for us to know its condition and when problems have occurred like mechanical breakdowns of equipment etc they have been good at obtaining quotes and offering different options to retain the status quo."
